Poker Night 8/31

Game Nine

The time has come for our Wednesday poker night, August 31 at 7:00. To ensure the comfort of the guests we are going to hold the game at Kevin's again (remember to wear clean socks). The buy -in will be $20.

I'm not planning on having a food/drink rake since it doesn't seem like we are using much of the stuff. So if you want anything you should bring it. If we want to order some pizzas or something we can throw in for that separately.

Missed the game

There was a game last night. Last I heard they had nine people playing, sounds like a good number.

I haven't heard how it went. I'm interested in hearing how Henry's online practice helps... or not.

I went to the Gateway Grizzlies game last night with the family. We all had a pretty good time. The girls each got a baseball, which they had a couple of players autograph.

I also got to go on the field for the bed races. My Mom and I against my sister-in-law and her son. It was pretty fun, right up to the point when my Mom flew off the bed. I missed the tumble, I was too busy celebrating the victory. Arms in the air, playing up to the crowd, while Mom was on the turf under a mattress.

She was OK, no harm right. It was fun, we called it a tie.

We had a pretty full table for this game, eight players. Some people did a little better, some did a little worse, and we have a new memeber to the final table.

Jeff, if your reading this, please come back or please take your second best luck with you. You have left it here and it has firmly implanted itself with me. Needless to say I did not fair to well.
