Poker with the birds

Sometimes I feel like I play poker with birds. I can't seem to keep my focus. Lately there have been a whole lot of calling stations around the table and I can't seem to adapt. I'm still pretty patient but then... wham! I don't know what happens. I want to get the best value for my hands but end up betting other peoples hands.
