Family Poker

Looks like some fun this weekend. A little gathing of some family that I haven't seen a while and a couple of friends that I see every day (I think they just show for the poker).

Anyway, it should be fun. Hopefully we can get a couple of games in and everyone will have a good time.

We've pretty much got a table full, nine at a minimum, ten possibly. We'll have to squeeze in.

For those of you coming and by chance read this, I'm looking forward to seeing you all.

They must mean something, we keep posting them

The math guy sent me the updated rankings. The rules for getting ranked, if you don't remember are as follows.

You have to have finished at least 3rd in one of the games. If your ranking is below 20, you don't count. Rankings are evaluated on a rolling last 12 games.

Poker Doldrums

I'm in my big let down week. After a pretty good game last Wednesday, now there is nothing much to look forward to. Online poker has sort of lost its luster and going all in versus Alex and Emma just doesn't have much of an effect.

I find myself searching the channel guide for any kind of fix. You know it's bad when you can figure out withing 5 seconds if you've already seen the poker show on just by who's sitting at the table. Celebrity poker is a waste of time, it's like watching Wes play for two hours.

I need a new hobby.
