On to other things...

Tunica = Loss of $$

Don't get me wrong I had a good time a Tunica for the WSOP circuit event but the satellites are a crap shoot (not that I know how to play craps either). It is pretty much about luck. If you don't get good cards you won't win. With that in mind we're going to have a "Taste of Tunica" event prior to our monthly game. The buy-in will be less but the format the same. So bring an extra $5 to experience it for yourself.

$5 gets you T500 (that means $500 in tournament chips). Each level last 15 min. Blinds as follows.
Round 1 - $25/$25
Round 2 - $25/$50
Round 3 - $50/$100
Race off $25 chips
Round 4 - $100/$200
Round 5 - $200/$400

Winner take all...This shouldn't last very long, but it'll be fun.

I've been toying with the idea of raising the buy-in. This will allow for a little more of a rake for the annual pot and still allow for a reasonable payout for the nightly pot. Let me know what you think. I've figured in an average house rake for beverages so that may adjust up or down depending on what gets consumed, which lately hasn't been much. So here is the structure I'm contemplating. Let me know any comments or questions.
